The addition of electric blankets proved invaluable, especially during the chilliest winter we've experienced in years. The communal lounge, equipped with a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi access, provided a cozy space to unwind. Improvement could be seen in the kitchen's upkeep; It is notably positioned at the guest entry point where cleanliness is paramount. Nonetheless, the organization graciously prepared a braai for us upon arrival, allowing us to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The Hide's aesthetic aligns with its name, featuring a visually pleasing exterior devoid of ostentatious branding. For those weighing financial considerations against luxurious touches, Hide On Kilburn presents a compelling option in the eco-travel space.
